What About The Bowlfex Ultimate XTLU?
Kyle,
What do you think of the Bowflex Ultimate XTLU ?
It's getting harder and harder to get to the gym
running my home business so I want to buy something
decent for the house ?
Hope you don't mind me asking your opinion.
Sincerely,
Lewis
Lewis,
Honestly, I am not familiar with the new Bowlfex.
I am sure it is very nice and is a good tool to have but
I am more partial to free weights, bodyweight workouts,
olympic lifting movements, powerlifting movements,
kettlebell movements, and odd object lifting.
Even if you don't want to spend a dime on your home
gym training you can get a killer workout using just
your bodyweight.
I find that these methods are cheaper, more effective at
delivering improved body composition results, and
more conducive to building a strong body that
functions well in the real world.
With that said, if I was going to build a home gym and
I had some extra cash to blow I guess I would buy the
following:
1. A Power Rack with a Chin Up Bar on It
2. Barbell with 300 pounds of weight
3. Iron Woody Fitness Bands
4. An X-Vest
5. maybe some Kettlebells
6. some adjustable Dumbbells (I do like the Bowlfex
adjustable dumbbells as well as the Power Block Dumbbells)
7. An adjustable, high-quality bench
I hope that helps Lewis and let me know if you have
any other questions.
Train with purpose,
